Miyan Karkashi is a traditional Hausa-fulani soup prepared using leafy vegetables, or the powdered variant, dried fish, meat, fresh pepper, and seasonings. It can be served wih Tuwo Masara or other 'Tuwos' such as Tuwon Dawa, this is ground guinea-corn kneaded into a stiff porridge or dough, or Tuwo Shinkafa, mashed rice molded into balls.
