Model Kampung Chetti

At Tengkera’s eastern edge is Kampung Gajah Berang, (called “Kaadjie Berang” by the Dutch) where the Chitty community of Melaka, Hindu descendants of traders from the Coromandel Coast of South India, have lived for centuries.
