Koto is a traditional Japanese stringed musical instrument over 70" long. It has 13 strings strung over 13 movable bridges along the length of the instrument. Traditionally, the koto and music stand are set on the floor while the musician kneels beside them. This mock koto helped the student learn the fingering and plucking of the instrument.
