Seven models wearing day ensembles with fur Tartar hats from the Fall 1976 "Ballet Russes" collection by Yves Saint Laurent. (From left to right) Model 1 wears a hooded burnoose coat (Besson fabric) in beige stripes with piping, over a square-necked peasant blouse and ivory belted dirndl skirt. Model 2 wears a chamois suede coat with passementerie/leather stitching, and a red fox fur version of a Tartar hat. Model 3 wears a square, collarless jacket in a striped tweed with green passementerie, over a satin crepe de Chine blouse, green skirt, and a wider suede boot; jacket and skirt of Besson fabric, blouse of Taroni fabric. Model 4 (in the background) wears a hooded burnoose coat over a pink-and-red striped jacket and suede-belted etamine skirt; all Besson fabric. Model 5 (in the foreground) wears a striped jacket over narrow dark pants (both of Besson fabric) with a bow-necked crepe de Chine jacquard blouse (Gandini fabric), all under a dark burnoose coat (Moreau fabric). Model Mounia wears brown striped burnoose coat, passementerie-trimmed blouse and striped skirt; coat and skirt of Besson fabric. Model 7 wears a grey wool jacket (Gandini fabric) over a velvet-yoked dirndl skirt (Besson fabric), worn with a printed crepe de Chine blouse (Abraham fabric) and gold-threaded scarf.
