Modern pendant, made of shell. Its shape has been modified and two holes have been carved: one small hole on the top for threading of necklace and a bigger hole on the bottom. Some morifs have been incised in black, inspired in Prehispanic designs and glyphs. It was acquired in the 1970s in Yucatan, Mexico, for an exhibition in the Horniman Museum and later tranferred to the Bristish Museum.
