Molcajete Sinaloense

Choper Nawers

With proud from Culiacán, Sinaloa, the artist chose to represent a very typical dish from his coastal state: “I like the kitchen, the flavor, its shapes. And I believe that the colors in Sinaloa cuisine are magical, besides that we are linked to the Pacific which gives us different shapes. Without a doubt, the sea is an inspiration. One of the main themes that inspire me is the theme of Mexico, I am proud to be Mexican and to always be looking for a way to put the name of my country high.”
