Money in society

Students have worked with the Museum to explore what money looks like in their local area. These photographs demonstrate how they feel money is being spent, or not spent, within society.
Photography by students from George Mitchell School and Kemnal Technology College, and inspired by students from The Children’s Hospital School at Great Ormond Street and University College Hospital. The photographs were displayed as part of the British Museum exhibition, 'Money Matters' from the 3rd June–9th October 2016. Supported by Citi.
