A production of the Suzanne Dellal Centre for Dance and Theatre.
A physical theatre work consisting of ten dancers. The language of MONGER is theatrical, physical, sharp, fast and contains ethnic contemporary motifs. MONGER explores the dynamics of hierarchy, power, dignity and the compromises one makes in order to survive. The pieces narrative structure is drawn from several sources including the life and work of Bruno Shultz, Jean Genets play “The Maids” and Robert Altmans film “Gosford Park”.
