‘Monger’ by Barak Marshall
A production of the Suzanne Dellal Centre for Dance and Theatre.

Monger is a physical dance theatre work for 10 dancers. The movement language of Monger is theatrical, intricate, fast paced, and contains contemporary ethnic motifs.
Monger explores the dynamics of hierarchy, power, dignity and the compromises one makes in life in order to survive.
The piece’s narrative structure is drawn from several sources including the life and work of Bruno Shultz, Jean Genet’s play “The Maids” and Robert Altman’s film “Gosford Park”.
