La Casa del libro has always welcomed children to its premises. Since its founding in 1955, the museum's educational mission has been one of its primary concerns.
The Liber Chronicarum by Hartmann Schedel printed in Nuremberg by Anton Koberger in 1493, or Nuremberg Chronicle as it is generally called, is one of the most important German incunables and the most extensively illustrated book of the 15th century. Structured around the seven ages of the world, from Creation to the Last Judgment, the Nuremberg Chronicle stands in the long tradition of universal chronicles. Encompassing religious, secular and mythical themes, this work is essentially a recompilation of ancient histories and medieval chronicles.
