The work is inspired by a verse on summer from the poem Baramasa, meaning Twelve Months, by the renowned 17th century poet, Keshavadas.
The woven tapestries �depicts the steep contrast between summer and monsoon which is represented by the elements fire and water, reminds us of the interdependency of sun and water to make life exist on earth. This piece showcases the monsoon.
