Mexico City at some point in its history was a city in explicit contact with water, daily life unfolded in continuous contact with this important element of nature, to the colonial era, a time when the drying starts this geographical area; also this space has even today one of the most unique and interesting on the planet animals, axolotl, this unique animal that is an icon of this region of the world today is in danger of extinction threatened by the continued destruction of species their ecosystem.
The mural aims to communicate both biological and cultural importance of this kind for both the geographic region and the world at large.
