This monument pedestal was moved to the museum from the Sungboksa Temple Site in Malbang-ri, Oedong-eup, Gyeongju. The monument has the head of a dragon and the body of a tortoise. The back, where it bears the large monument pedestal, is lined with two layers of tortoiseshell designs, and there is a bead necklace around the short neck. Another layer of the pedestal, made from a separate stone, lies atop the large pedestal, but the rest is missing, and only part of the inscription on the monument has been deciphered.
