Seated portrait of Prince Mustafa Ali Haidar of Awadh or Oudh, also known as Mustafa Ali Khan. The prince is one of the sons of Amjad Ali Shah, the 4th King of Awadh, making him a brother of Wajid Ali Shah, the last King of Awadh. He is dressed in an ornate garment and wears a headpiece topped with a plume, resting an arm on a table covered with a tablecloth with a foliage motif.
