Moquette is the term used for the durable upholstery fabric used on public transport across the world. This particular moquette design was known as the 'crushed strawberry' pattern. The designer is unknown but the pattern was produced for the refurbished Routemaster buses from the early 1990s. The design is much brighter than the original Routemaster moquette designed by Douglas Scott.
