MORE COMPASSION! It refers to the impossibility of mourning our dead during the pandemic and to ritualize the loss with the community. The poster “Brazil: banalized death” recalls women who died without the ritual of mourning, whether because of the pandemic or because they were killed and disappeared by the dictatorship. Faced with perverse and insensitive acts, we are left with art to express the pain and the unspeakable of deritualized, trivialized death.
