Designed by Pere Pi, Leopoldo Mila and Jordi Ros, the Cota 247 was a mythical model of Montesa brand with a very distinctive aesthetic for the brand of Esplugues win the silver Delta Industrial Design Award 1968. He has been the origin of a successful trial motorcycle saga that reaches our days with the coordinate of the Montesa-Honda brand. Cota had different versions where improvements were implemented. This is the version of 1974 where the most prominent visual effect is black frame color.
