This model was unveiled at the Automobil Salon 1971 with great success. The initial 70 units failed to distributors because they were sold directly to the Hall. Over time, the small Cota was taking on new solutions bestseller and was an incentive for the construction of new lines and models. It was a small trial motorcycle designed and intended to introduce children to the world of trial size. Derived from the Cota 247, popularized child trial with races for children. With 7,913 units, pilots from the likes of Jordi Tarrés and Alex Crivillé were started in motorcycling with this model.
