This model was presented at the Barcelona Trade Fair 1951.
With this bike, Montesa gives a remarkable step forward, significantly renovating mechanical with telescopic forks, alloy brakes, and a new tank with a modern design and the characteristic red color of the brand. In 1951 Leopoldo Mila got the overall victory in the Rally of Andorra, whereas Francesc X. Bultó i Cabestany won the bronze medal in the 6 International Days of Varese (Italy).
