  • Notes: Again my lack of familiarity with Auckland means I don't know where this is. I do, however remember three things about this time. I believe we diverged from Dominion Rd (possibly onto Great North Rd), a group of youths (Maori or Islander) questioned my validity with the march and tried to isolate me from the other (I think I was in some danger at this point – for the first time during the day I felt afraid). However some of the marchers gathered me in, saying I was known to them. I am thankful to those people. Thirdly I found the friends I had stayed with the previous night and we peeled off from the march and found our way to their place.
