Mr. Kaoru Saito, representative of the University of Tokyo Cyber Forest and Professor of Natural Environment Studies, Graduate School of Frontier Sciences

Mr. Kaoru Saito digitalises the forests (The University of Tokyo Chichibu Forest; his research field) by integrating existing information on forest environment with videos and sounds, and develops data of daily forest monitoring simulation. He also engages in development research on the interface of communicational foundation for researchers and the public with applied network technology.
