"This is the press release sent out by Metro Concepts about this show, which gives additional bio info about Mr. Lif. Metro Concepts, who I think were initially called Main Ingredient, was a management and promotional company owned and run by Tim Linberg and O'Neal Rome. They were important in booking hip-hop into rock clubs (like The Middle East) and proving to club owners and bookers that there was no reason not to book hip-hop. Because of their effort, along with a handful of other promoters in the town in the 80s and 90s, hip-hop shows were happening all over the city by the early 2000s. Location: Central Square."
