Born in Marseille in 1917, she is more vigorous than many young people. Mother, grandmother and grand-grandmother, she becomes a widow at a very young age and decides to take her life at hand by studying to finally become a professor at the college of Business of Marseille. During the 1960s, she fights for the rights of women in schools, she joins the women's movement and creates the women's first list in Paris. She is one of the founders of the green movement and always militates.
She settles down in the 1st district in 1984 and participates actively in the political life. For her 95th birthday, more than 80 people of all different political the parties were present. With her lively eye and her energy, she likes to roam across the district, read the newspaper, sitting on the café where everyone knows her. When we ask her what her typical day is, she responds:"But have meetings every day ! With schools, neighborhood committees, foundations..."
