This mudha was recorded in a chaupal of Karar Ibrahimpur village in Sonepat and was believed to be made more than ten years ago. There were a number of such mudha stored in one of the rooms, which were used to seat guests during weddings or public gatherings organised at the chaupal. The seat and the edges of the backrest of this mudha was woven using cotton ropes, in the traditional way.
