The Muhammadiyah

The sorry state of Islamic communities – mixing Islam with beliefs not found in the Quran nor Hadist - from the 19th o early 20th century prompted KH Ahmad Dahlan to form Muhammadiyah with the sole purpose of reforming Islamic religious lives. Its activities include the fields of religion, education and civic service.
