Mujeres de arcilla

A group of catechists from rural areas asked architect Juan José Santibáñez to help them build houses that would look like the Huajapan parsonage he had designed. Santibáñez and the women built sixteen houses in adobe, working together on one at a time. This process contributed to transform gender roles in the region.
