Perseus fountain in the Grottenhof, to the East
This rear view of the Perseus Fountain from c. 1900/1910 simultaneously reveals the west facade of the Grottenhof east wing. The open, roofed columned hall contains the grotto architecture designed by Friedrich Sustris, made of local pebbles, crystals and partly colored shells. Looking into the grotto hall, the elaborately designed wall fountains can be seen.
