The monumental sculpture of a youth made of Untersberg marble, riding a fish-tailed horse without saddle or bridle, allegorically represents the destructive power of water. In his hands he holds a boulder ready to be thrown, thus referring to the unbridled wildness of the mountain streams in the Mangfall Valley, the source area for Munich's water supply.
