Museo del Patrimonio Industriale - Panigal soap

The SASI soap factory in Bologna's Borgo Panigale district, primarily employed women, producing stearin, olein, laundry soap, and soap bars. Rebuilt after devastating bombing raids, the factory diversified in the 1960s and 1970s, creating new soaps and detergents for bodies, hand washing, dishwashing, and even washing machines - a reflection of the emerging consumer society.
