Museo del Patrimonio Industriale - Technical and scientific instrumentation by Sebastiano Zavaglia

Sebastiano Zavaglia (1824-1876), director of the Aldini Cabinet of Physics and Applied Chemistry, acquired and built scientific equipment and models for educational purposes, collaborating with leading manufacturers of the time. The Cabinet offered theoretical and practical demonstrations, showcasing the principles of mechanics and physics by operating machine models, and providing Italy’s first practical courses on telegraphy and steam power.
