The iconic Tortellini: Bologna's culinary delight, has been mass-produced since 1906, when the Zamboni & Troncon company began creating machines to automatically produce stuffed pasta. Their Tortellinatrici, capable of producing 5,000 tortellini per hour, earned a gold medal at the "Premio Umberto I", replicating traditional handcrafting with the efficiency of twenty skilled operators.
