Museo VFR - Antique footwear Room

In the room is exposed an ancient shoes's collection as attesting the tradition of this territory rooted in "Calegheri's school", ancient craftsmen guild (1268) who manufactured luxury footwear for the Venetian nobles.
After Venetian Republic fall (1797), some of them were forced to move along Brenta River because of the great drop in work, stimulating the growth of this area.
