Museum "Journey to the Alcarria"

In the upper levels of the tower keep of the castle we find the museum of the book Journey to the Alcarria, by Camilo Jose Cela (Nobel prize winner in Literature, 1989). It opened in 1995 thanks to the donations of the famous model for journalists Manuel Leguineche and the painter Jesus Campoamor. It is well worth a visit to see traces of 1946, the time the book speaks about, and moving memories related to the characters in the book.
