Preparatory canvas for the final version, which is in a private property, to tackle the creative process of decorating the fresco on the dome of the main altar at the Royal Palace of La Granja de San Ildefonso. The iconography features the heavens opening in a helicoidal composition and musical angels in light shades. The painter uses a reduced technique for this type of canvas.
