My land

The triptych represents three moments in Brazil: Discovery, Independence and Republic. On the first canvas, in the lower half, a turbulent sea in white and green tones, rocks and a flight of seagulls. In the upper half, between waves, a sloping caravel, with white sails, with the cross of the Order of Christ in the center. On the crow's nest, red pennant. To the right, in the distance, a similar caravel. Sky in gray and pink tones. jams. Inscriptions in the center of the back of the canvas, in red characters: "1º CENTENARIO DA INDEPENDENCIA DO BRASIL/MINHA TERRA/HELIOS SEELINGER/ 1500-1822-1922/RIO - 1922".
On the middle screen, in the foreground, a pyramidal composition formed by three naked men. The two at the base are clinging to each other, one supporting the other. This third one is on his back, face to the left; wide eyes; mouth open as if he were screaming; disheveled hair; arms extended upwards; with shackles on his wrists and broken chains. In the center of the upper part, behind this, a silhouette of a female figure in gray tones with closed eyes and long hair, wrapped in a kind of nimbus surrounded by a circular crown formed by small red flowers. In the lower part, in the background, nude figures, contorted, some slumped and others on their backs. To the right, distant figures of men on horseback. Background in green and gray tones dotted with impasto.
On the right screen, in the foreground, lined up diagonally, several men in blue and red uniforms, holding poles with Brazilian flags, mounted on prancing horses, in reddish tones, directed to the right.
