My Sophie

"My Sophie" is a portrait of a mother embracing her baby child. This work is part of a series called "Treasures of the Heart."

Torregrosa had her own children nine years after her career in portrait photography began. This experience was life-changing, leading the artist to create the "Treasures of the Heart" series. "If I felt this so deeply, others must be experiencing this as well. I wanted to help mothers express their love through these portraits."
