Angelo Bordoni (1860-1946) inherits the glassworks founded by his grandfather from his father, who employed about 400 people. Concerned about the health consequences of workers in "blowing" processing, he is among the first industrialists to introduce mechanical machines at least for serial production, especially bottles for pharmaceutical products.
