Chartreuse silk sari brocaded in gold metallic thread; floor-length; rounded florentine neckline; cap sleeves; straight-paneled front with vertical seam joining gold borders of sari; full flaring bias-cut back, brocaded yoke of high-waisted bodice dipping around back; heavy gold metallic braid sawtooth trim edging neckline and sleeves; center back zipper closure; bright pink silk lining. Worn by Lady Emilia Armstrong on June 15, 1977, when she became a member of The Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta.
