In 2016 Álvaro Siza returned to Schlesisches Tor, strolled down the Nursery gardens, climbed up to the top of the Day Centre and got a warm reception by the elderly users. In the building Bonjour Tristesse they met again some of its first residents, realizing, however, that the building is now in a full process of social gentrification.
