The Mantra repeats" Shri Ram" in Devanagri script, each repeat seperated by a symbolic bow and arrow that represents the triumph of good over evil. The narrow border has the feet of Lord Vishnu and along the width of the shawl are represented the figures of Lord Ram, Sita and his brother Lakshman.
