Nancy Pinzon was an unused substitute during all three of Mexico’s 1999 Women’s World Cup matches.

The Mexicans made their World Cup debut in 1999 and finished bottom of what was dubbed the "Group of Death" featuring the heavyweights of Brazil, Germany and Italy.

Nancy could only look on as Mexico racked up three defeats; 7-1 at the hands of the Brazilians, before 6-0 and 2-0 losses against Germany and Italy respectively.

Mexico would have to wait another twelve years before making their next Women's World Cup appearance.
