Along each end of the napkin is an embroidered panel consisting of three buildings beside a stream, represented by a narrow lobed border worked in blue. The houses are embroidered in a combination of yellow and white metal strip. Their triangular roofs are each surmounted by a finial. They are surrounded by grape vines, trees and flowers, and between each building is a rocky hill with a tree growing on top. The embroidered panels are surrounded on three sides by a drawn-thread work border. From Sadberk Koç’s original collection.
