'The Exile', a hand-coloured print of Napoleon Bonaparte in the garden at Longwood, when he was exiled to on St. Helena. Adjacent is a rose bush, probably alluding to Empress Josephine, Napoleon's first wife and her love of rose collected for the gardens of Chateau de Malmaison. Published July 24th 1820 by R.
