National Ekco Radio & Engineering Co. Ltd. (Bombay) was founded in 1949, as a joint venture with E. K. Cole Ltd. of Southend, England. U756 is a table model with a woven façade and three tuning knobs. The cabinet is made of moulded bakelite that was meant to emulate a wooden casing.
