Musée Bertrand
Châteauroux, France

Who is the famous Joachim Murat, also known as Joachim I, King of Naples?
This is the brother-in-law of the Emperor himself whom he follows in his campaigns.
A skillful military man, he is represented on this National Glory, under his portrait, during the battle of Eylau, which was against Russian forces. Murat is the one at the head of the charge. Unfortunately, the Battle of Eylau is truly a massacre that sees many generals fall.
