Intaglio engraving made to illustrate the book The Desired Day...Relation of the solemnity with which the church of Santo Cristo de los Milagros was inaugurated... by Felipe Colmenares Fernández de Córdova, printed in Lima by the San Jacinto Printing Company.
Following Estabridis (2002), inside the Church of the Nazarenas from the atrium, you can see the semicircular arch of the central nave with attached columns. In the central nave you can see a dome and on the sides two other semicircular arches with attached colonnades. Between these columns there are niches with images of saints. On the right side there is a pulpit. In the background is the main altar in the Rococo style, with three streets and two floors. In the center of the main altar is the mural of the Lord of Miracles. At the top of the main altar is Saint Michael the Archangel with shield and sword surrounded by angels, defeating the demon that lies at his feet. Higher up, covering the entire main altar, a large shell-shaped arch, which reaches up to the vault of the building.
