"Family quilts nurtured my early love of quilts. They were windows into the lives of my mother's family and perpetuated this wonderful tradition.

Quilts speak volumes about their makers' lives, as my quilts have been reflective of 36 years of my life changes. Through designs, fabrics, and colors, my enthusiasm and encouragement for all quilters and their talents remain constant.

With my quilts--created for physical and emotional warmth, for self, gift, or purchase--the teaching of techniques, the enjoyment of the sewing process, and the promotion of bonds between quilters are the most important elements of my quiltmaking."
