Necklace

"Santiago Rusiñol (Barcelona, 1861 - Aranjuez, 1931) collected an interesting set of necklaces made of all kinds of beads of pre-Roman typologies. Each item was extracted by Rusiñol himself during the excavations carried out in 1912 in the necropolis of Puig dels Molins, in Ibiza.
In this case, it is a decorative necklace made up of 72 differently coloured glass beads and 40 silica paste and bone charms. The charms represent a wide range of the Egyptian repertory: felines, the Eye of Horus, snakes, falcons, the Hathor cow, apes, Ptah, Hathor, Horus and a picture of Bes wearing a crown of feathers."
