Necklace with amulets

“This necklace features two lapis amulets: a wedjat eye and a figure of the goddess Isis, one of Egypt’s most popular goddesses. The brilliant dark blue of lapis lazuli was a highly desired color in Egyptian jewelry. This stone was not native to Egypt, and had to be imported from as far away as Afghanistan.
