The decoration consists of grooved beads and pendants, which are commonly called kryn-like, although they have the shape of crosses. Some of the pendants are equilateral crosses, some have an elongated lower bar. The crossbars end with trefoils.
The ornament is made in one of the most common jewelry techniques in the 12th century – embossing on a matrix. Such technique made it possible to save metal, increase production, and create jewelry on a fairly large scale.
Pendants of various shapes were part of the necklace, alternating with metal, glass or stone beads. Since the 11th century the kryn-shaped ornamentation has become widespread. It is connected with the iconography of the images of holy warriors and archangels
